Looks as though the yankees have company in the ALCS and it involves some rangers in texas. The texas rangers accomplished their first postseason advancement by finishing off the rays in the final game of the ALDS. Cliff Lee looks well...like a beast. I cant put it any other way when the guy has at least 10 strikeouts in every one of his postseason starts.
What I really liked about this article is that his sole topic was about Cliff Lee...and the game was all about him. He did a good job in regards to the way he structured his piece in which he started off with Lee instead of talking about the rangers in particular. Lee was the reason the rangers advanced ..when you see an article that knows what made his team advance or do something great thats when you know youve got yourself a story.
Yeah, Lee is an ANIMAL! The article did talk about Lee early and throughout so, yes, that was great.
ReplyDeleteThis post is also very helpful for all of us as are getting ready to write our in-class running story. This is an ap story, which means it was written non deadline, and the bottom half of the story is all stuff that was written early in the game or while it was going on this. This is a great example of what can be done with a running game story.
