This week's article is about an American soccer player named Steve Cherundolo. It basically discusses his career as a 31-year-old player and questions whether or not he would ever consider retiring. The article is extremely well-written and mentions a lot of key aspects in relation to the life of a soccer player. Usually, soccer players retire around their early to mid thirties. A great part of the article is that it includes a lot of background on other international players who have retired at early ages. Another great aspect of the article is that it includes a lot of great quotes.
i agree that this was a good feature on Cherundolo and i like the way the writer incorporated the quotes
ReplyDeletei agree..the way the writer brought in other aspects of why soccer players retire so early is key...you want to explain what other players have done when they stayed playing and when they didnt
ReplyDeleteThis is a mini-feature that the writer is looking to lead off his soccer roundup. I also thought it was very interesting, because it is hard to write a feature that his thought-provoking in that short amount of space but this writer did it.
