After all the attempted hype Mikhail Prokhorov put into the Nets this offsesason by making outlandish claims or NBA, reality is starting to set in. Mello isn't going to the Nets and the Nets have nobody to blame but themselves. They didn't want to give up the players necessary to get Mello in town and they lost out. This article does a great job of detailing what needed to be done for the trade to happen and what did not get done. It also gives insight with quotes from Mello stating how he is staying in Denver "at least for now." It was written well and provides all the information the reader would want to know in the article.
melo needs a carmello and a chair to kick back and watch the media frenzzzz
ReplyDeleteI am never counting Prokhorov out. As long as there are decent players available the Nets will always be in the mix. He will have them back above water in a very short amount of time.
ReplyDeleteThe Nets owner needs to understand there is this thing called "rebuiling" or he could just settle for a star. He needs to choose which road to take fast. I don't think the Nets are going anywhere with the team they have now.
